Mrs. Becky (Preschool - Kindergarten)

This year we have had the immense privilege to be blessed with Mrs. Becky Plank as part of our loving school family. As a deeply admired and highly reputable educator, she uses her academic expertise as a way of fulfilling the great commission - making our children disciples and teaching them to observe all that Jesus commanded. She feels honored to be doing this very important work at a school that values God's Word, builds strong moral character, and offers an exceptional education.

Mrs. Stidham (1st - 2nd grade)

As a highly-valued, well-respected team member and extraordinary teacher at Farmers Christian Academy since 2002, Mrs. Stidham has had the blessed opportunity to share her wisdom and love for God with the lives of countless children. She continues to strive to be a positive influence not only in the lives of her students, but in the lives of all students at FCA.

Along with her husband, two adult children, and grandchildren, Mrs. Stidham is an esteemed member of The House of Prayer. As a family, they enjoy sharing the Light and Truth of God with others. As an educator, she takes pleasure in sharing God’s Love, His Word, and His Blessings with her student family.

When not at Farmers Christian Academy, Mrs. Stidham enjoys listening to and watching her husband and sons perform in the Christian band, FOCUS. She also appreciates spending quality time with all of her grandchildren and sharing God’s Love in their lives.

With a very strong, highly intense belief, Mrs. Stidham’s favorite verse in the Bible is:

“Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.” ~ Psalm 127:3-5

Mrs. Goss (3rd - 5th grade)

As a treasured colleague, there is no doubt that Mrs. Goss has an unwavering passion for Farmers Christian Academy and the children who attend. Her personal mission is to help educate the students in an environment that is ambitious, fun, loving and joyful. She tries to incorporate art into many of her lessons. Her love for the Lord and His Children is evident in her personal life as well as in her classroom. Mrs. Goss main goal is to make it clear that her students are loved by all of Farmers Christians Staff and Jesus Christ while they are gaining their education here at FCA.

She has three wonderful children who all attend Farmers Christian Academy. Mrs. Goss is a member of Slaty Point Baptist church. When she is not at school she spends time with her children and husband or takes a few moments to paint.

Mrs. Tackett

Welcome to Farmers Christian Academy! I am Lesley Tackett, administrator and high school supervisor. FCA is a private Christian school that will provide your child with a solid education that will prepare them for success. Attending FCA is a privilege and an honor. Our students are trained in the highest principles of moral character, self-control, responsibility, integrity, and citizenship. We stand for high standards of morality, wisdom, academics, and personal conduct.

We firmly believe Deuteronomy 6:6-7:

“And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up."

FCA uses Accelerated Christian Education curriculum, which includes Scripture memory passages and many references to God and Jesus Christ.

Mrs. Martin (Technical Support/ Aide)

Since walking into Farmers Christian Academy for the first time, Mrs. Martin has felt like she has truly become a part of a wonderful family. She first began generously volunteering her time in helping with various school projects, varied student activities, parental support, and diverse classroom aid. She not only cares deeply for all of the children just like her own but believes in the capability of every student at FCA. Her desire is to help each child meet and achieve their fullest potential, obtain their personal and academic goals, nurture their relationship with God all while enjoying their day at school.

As a valuable member of Sharkey Baptist Church, she enjoys spending time attending church with her loving husband and their two wonderful sons, who both are students at FCA. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her family, read God's Word, share precious moments with her sons and share her love for the Lord with her family and friends.

With a strong belief, Mrs. Martin enjoys sharing one of her favorite verses while encouraging the children:
"The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom
shall I be afraid?" ~ Psalm 27:1

Mrs. Katie Tackett (Aide/ Substitute)

Since 2014, we have had the immense privilege to be blessed with Mrs. Katie Tackett as part of our loving school family. As a deeply admired and highly reputable educator, she fkeflnher academic expertise as a way of fulfilling the great commission - making our children disciples and teaching them to observe all that Jesus commanded. She feels honored to be doing this very important work at a school that values God's Word, builds strong moral character, and offers an exceptional education.

She is the blessed mother of three beautiful children, Kenli, Jack and Daisy. Her hope and desire are to help the children explore their natural curiosity about the world around them, as well as to instill a lifelong love of learning through a fun and individualized program. She and her students always bring their smiles and sense of humor to class on a daily basis. She enjoys working with parents to bring forth each child's unique, God-given gifts and strengths!
